As with basically everything in our lives, Thanksgiving was pretty low-key yesterday. Here's the big Thanksgiving feast I put together.
I made apple brie bruschetta, green bean casserole, a hodge podge turkey casserole and cornbread muffins. The pumpkin pie was store bought.
Everything turned out great! For the turkey casserole, I layered stuffing, turkey, sauteed onions, celery and carrots, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and shredded cheese. An entire Thanksgiving dinner all in one dish! Not the traditional route, but it was yummy and kept cleanup to a minimum. We gave Harry a plate full of casseroles and a cornbread muffin. Little guy gobbled everything right up (haha, see what I did there?).
An hour after dinner we enjoyed our pumpkin pie. We even let Harry have a small slice. After Harry went to sleep (third straight night in our bed), we watched Parks and Rec on Netflix. So ya, you can't get much more low key than that!
