This morning we had some errands to run. First up was to pay rent at our realtor's office and then to Target for some grocery shopping. I wanted to pick up some organic grapes and apples for Harry now that we've been doing the veggie thing for a while. I'm not crazy obsessed about doing organic foods, but if Harry's going to eat the skin, I'd like it to be organic. Check out this list of the "dirty dozen" fruits and veggies that should be purchased organic. Unfortunately Target has a very slim selection of organic fruits and veggies. They do have organic zucchini, but I didn't find any organic apples or grapes.
Later this week I'll try a different grocery store to see if I can't some more organic fruits. In the mean time we picked up a bunch of bananas for Harry to try. After getting home we wasted no time in putting a small slice in one of the mesh feeders Harry got for Easter.
Baby boy loved it! Since he loves putting just about everything in his mouth it came as no surprise. I think the banana flavor caught him off guard a little, but in a good way. He wouldn't stop sucking on it! After about 10 minutes Harry lost interest and when I went to wash the feeder I couldn't believe that nearly all the banana was gone.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
