My OPI Collection

The other day I read Heather's blog post about her OPI collection and thought it was a fun idea and thought it would be neat to feature my own collection.

I think I discovered OPI my freshman year of  high school, so 1999ish. Since then I have accrued quite a collection of their nail polishes. And for the past five years or so my nails have almost always been painted. Well, until Mr. Harry came along. I've only painted my nails once since having him. It makes me a little sad that I don't have the time to keep up with the twice a week manicure routine I used to have, but being a mom is way better. Besides, with the added chores a baby brings my nails would always look chipped.

Here are the colors I have.

I actually have two more, but the labels have fallen off. One is a metallic taupe color that was exclusive to Ulta and the other is a pink glittery one. I actually used to work with a girl who worked for OPI so I bought a bunch of colors from her for really cheap.

While I lovelovelove OPI colors, I can't stand their base and top coats. My all time favorite top coat is Seche Vite, there's really nothing better! I use the Seche Base and CND base coats. During my pregnancy I also used the CND top coat because it's three-free (Seche Vite has a pretty stern warning about birth defects right on the bottle).

I'm hoping to at least keep my toes polished this summer. I think I only managed to do them once last year... yikes!
