I was in a baking mood yesterday so I pulled out my Weight Watchers cookbook to see what I could make with stuff I already had in my kitchen. Here are the results.
Cheesy Straws! They're basically just cheesy breadsticks and were pretty simple to make and didn't require any crazy ingredients. According to the cookbook they're just two WW points per serving.
I did substitute regular cheddar cheese for the Taco Blend I had on hand and used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light instead of regular butter. To make them I whipped out my food processor for the first time ever. It came with the blender I bought a few years ago. The food processor part just attaches to the blender base. The damn thing was pretty useless; everything got stuck on the sides. I ended up putting everything in a bowl and finished the dough that way.
Now I'm in the market for a new food processor. I've always been interested in making my own baby food and all the recipes I've read say to puree everything in a food processor. Unless my blender can puree apples and chicken breasts? I should probably look in to that.
On an unrelated note, my Lightscoop should be here today! I also ordered an f/1.8 lens, camera bag with accessories and the Rebel T3i For Dummies book. I figured I deserved an early birthday present :).
