DIY Maternity Photo Shoot

Edit: Check out this post for some great DIY maternity photo shoot tips!

Today, at 34 weeks exactly, Ant and I went to a local forest preserve and took some maternity pictures. Here are the results!

Not too bad for doing it ourselves, right? We took a couple featuring little guy's name, I'll try to remember to post those once he's here. We had a lot of fun doing it and can't wait to do some DIY photo shoots with our son!

Melissa... I hope you don't mind that we stole your idea to use the chalkboard :).

  1. These are great and you look fantastic!! -Julia from YT

  2. Lindsey!!! These are so great! And, it wasn't my idea to use the chalkboard, it was my friend Jenn the photographer's :) Anyway, I fully intend to steal YOUR idea of the Baby on Board sign, so we'll be even! You guys are so cute together - you look totally in love and excited to be parents.

  3. These are so cute! I would have never known you did them yourself. I didn't get to do my mat shoot because I gave birth first lol but I'm thinking of just doing newborns myself when the baby comes home. What kind of camera did you use and what did you use to edit them? I love the kind of like aging effect.

  4. These are absolutely awesome! You're gorgeous, and these are pictures that will be great to have years from now! Thanks for sharing :)

  5. Awww those turned out so cute Lindsey! I love the one with the baby on board sign-too cute!

  6. These are great! When you heard you say in your vlog that you did it DIY with just a tripod, I was not expecting them to look so.... professional! Awesome job x
